The Perfect Wedding Invitation

For every wedding event, the couple must have the perfect wedding invitation to give out to their guest. Most weddings happen during June, also known as the wedding month, and a lot of couples tie the knot around that time of the year. Normally, half a year (6mos) prior the wedding date, the couple prepares the wedding invitation and to be given out to the guest a month or two before the wedding date.

Wedding invitations consists of 2-3 sheets of paper inviting the guests to come and celebrate the wedding with the couple. It is normally written in a third person language. By tradition, the brides themselves take care of the wedding invitations from scratch! But with the technology we have right now, brides can now choose the printer and coordinates with them for the cover, text, presentation, and paper texture of the invites, thus saving them the hassle of making it themselves.

Brides must not stress themselves which and what the layout to use nor the text, since printers are accustomed with all kinds of invites and they will gladly show all the options. For some couples who prefer to add another language into their invitation, printers also have Chinese-ready or other language ready invites, and all you need to put is the details eg names, dates and venues. Hassle free!

For couples who are in a budget, do not fret on spending tons of money, because it is very easy to make your own perfect wedding invitations. Brides can now print on their personal computers using a laser printer or inkjet printer and brides can also use the Internet for some guides on layout and text. Some artistically inclined brides may also opt for handmade written or calligraphy for added uniqueness and design to the invite.

Also, in addition to the wedding invitation itself, some couples add a little note which reads R.S.V.P with the name of the contact person and his/her number. RSVP is an abbreviation often used to the request the invitee let the host know if he or she will be attending. The word RSVP comes the French term, "Répondez si'l vous plaît," which means "please reply." On this RSVP note, directions, maps, gift options and other announcements are also printed on.

More Tips for a Perfect Wedding Invitations!

There is nothing more stressful when finding out names printed in the wedding invitation had been misspelled or wrong dates have been engraved. To prevent these things from happening, brides can make sure to do the following:

1. Proof read the invite before sending it to the printer.

2. Try reading the wedding invitation backwards, thus by doing this, will push the eyes to read each words very carefully.

3. Have someone proof read it. (Given the fact that brides normally are in pressured or in a very stressful situation)

TELL THEM IT’S MORE THAN A FAIRY TALE WITH DISNEY WEDDING INVITATIONS

Disney Wedding Invitations are perfect when you want to start your marriage with not just “Once upon a time ...” but also to look forward to the promise “... and they lived happily ever after”.

Every little girl knows that their first concept of love started when they read fairy tales. Oh how they swoon over the thought that someday their prince will come to sweep them off their feet; floored by the idea that there is indeed a Prince Charming.

Most of these fairy tales - celebrations of undying love - are immortalized in such classic Disney films as Beauty and the Beast , Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty, just to name a few.

There are also other romantic yet fun loving Walt Disney couples such as the popular Mickey and Minnie Mouse, the often bickering pair of Donald and Daisy Duck, or even the odd couple of Goofy and Clarabelle.

As those little girls grow up to eventually find their own Prince Charmings, somehow there are those who want to live that dream, albeit only for a day, by recreating their favorite love story as a concept or theme for their own wedding.

The correct kind of invitations set the tone for themed wedding celebrations.

If a Disney themed wedding is what you want, then Disney wedding invitations are a must. However, expert wedding planners agree that it is best and can even be more memorable for your invites if the Disney characters or couple that you choose will remind them of you. Do you posssess qualities similar to Mickey and Minnie Mouse or are you more like the feisty Mulan and General Chang? Perhaps you are one couple who believes in the saying “Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”, then a Beauty and the Beast wedding invitation will suit you best.

More than anything else, try to let your wedding guests know that they need to look beyond the seeming child like theme. You need to help them believe that those Disney wedding invitations you sent out carries the hope that yours will be a marriage that will really end with “... and they lived happily ever after”.

Creating the Perfect Layout For DIY Wedding Invitations

Preparing for your wedding is one of life's most amazing experiences and a DIY wedding invitation is a lovely addition to the details that will provide your guests with something to admire and treasure. By "Designing It Yourself" or DIY, you can save money and still achieve the finished look that you want. DIY wedding invitations present a great opportunity for you to unleash your creativity, so follow these tips for creating the perfect DIY wedding invitations:

1. Research it. With a few simple searches you'll find stunning designs from which you can take inspiration. Professional designers lead the way with their letterpress stationery, so find out what others are doing and how you can incorporate their ideas in your DIY wedding stationery.

2. One of the key aspects of good design is balance, or how objects are positioned relative to each other. For DIY wedding invitations, decide if you want the object or text to be very evenly distributed or more loosely arranged on the page. Whichever style you choose, you can ensure that your DIY wedding invitations are appealing by using multiple elements (such as lace or ribbons) - these will provide depth and texture to your invites.

3. Like professionally designed wedding invitations, your DIY invitations can benefit from having an "anchor" object or focal point on the invitation. One very popular technique is to create a border or frame around an anchor object, like a picture of the happy couple that is partially centered on the page. Having this type of attention grabbing framed object just off-center will give your DIY wedding invitations a more polished look.

4. Use colors that compliment each other and are not too hard on the eyes. Using different hues in the same color family can help keep your DIY wedding invitations from looking too "busy" with color. You may also want to experiment with printing on colored paper, as some color schemes will look better than others. Also, select fonts that will compliment your text, are appropriate for the occasion, and are easy to read. You'll want your guests to be able to decipher the details at first glance.

Your DIY wedding invitations can be exquisite and personal. Just take care not too over-design them. Follow the tips here and you'll create wedding invitations that will be cherished by you and your guests for a lifetime.
